Department of Japanese Studies, School of Modern Languages and Cultures HKU has the pleasure of inviting you to the Workshop:

Workshop for Effective ICT Classroom Activities in Japanese Teaching and Learning
日本語授業のための効果的なICTの取り入れ方

3 Jun, 2018 (Sun) 10:00-13:00
CPD-3.01, Centennial Campus, HKU

Medium: Japanese

Abstract of the workshop
The aim of the workshop is to enable participants to apply ICT to their own teaching in order to conduct effective classroom activities which used to be considered as difficult or impossible before the technology had become ubiquitous. In the workshop, participants are expected to seize the basic knowledge of the flipped classroom and the blended-learning, and explore examples of Japanese teaching through ICT. All are welcome but the workshop is especially useful to those who engage in Japanese language education.

Biography of Ms. Fujimoto
Ms. Fujimoto Kaoru is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Global Studies at Musashino University, Tokyo, Japan. She has been teaching international students Japanese for nearly two decades. Her research interest lies in the utilisation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Japanese language teaching/learning as a foreign language. Although her research output is strongly associated with distance/blended-learning for Japanese language, she is interested in the subculture of Japan such as Japanese comics and animations appreciated by a number of Japanese language learners in the world.
