The Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance (HEA) is a network of highly educated young African social and business entrepreneurs from leading Universities in Asia, Europe and North America.

Brief description of talk:
The colloquium is designed to enable students to learn more about Harambe Entrepreneurs, the work of the Alliance and opportunities available to young African entrepreneurial leaders in the 7th application cycle of the Harambe Bretton Woods Symposium.

Some of the opportunities available through the Alliance in 2014 include:
* Harambe Africa Angels Network Award : Angel Investment for African Startups
* Harambe Syngenta Assignment : Career Opportunity in Africa’s Agribusiness
* Harambe Pfizer Fellowship : Summer Grant for M-Health Ventures
* Harambe Fletcher Scholar Program : Full Tuition Scholarship for your Master’s Degree

Selected candidates will be invited to attend the 7th annual Harambe Bretton Woods Symposium, which will be held at MIT, Harvard University and the historic Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, April 4–7, 2014.

Okendo Lewis-Gayle is Founder and Chairman of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance (HEA). In this capacity he has overseen the establishment of a global network of young African entrepreneurs from leading universities in Asia, Europe, and North America, and gained HEA the endorsement of the British Parliament, the Parliaments of Ghana and South Africa, and the Holy See.Under Okendo’s leadership, HEA has secured the financial support of Intel, GlaxoSmithKline, Western Union, and other Fortune 500 companies, as well as prestigious universities such as Harvard, Oxford, and Peking to establish opportunities for young African entrepreneurs including Harambe Internships, Fellowships, and Scholarships.
