Applications are invited for the following post:

Laboratory Assistant in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures (Ref.: 201300698) (from as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have completed Form 5 or equivalent with a good command of written English and Chinese, and be able to communicate fluently in English and Chinese; with skills in Putonghua as an advantage. They should also have good interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and ability to work independently, knowledge and experience of operation and maintenance of audio/visual, computer equipment and laboratory. The appointee is required to attend a help desk/counter, manage students’ self-access laboratory, maintain language and multimedia laboratories including cleaning up works of laboratories and equipment.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
