Applications are invited for the following post:

Assistant Lecturer in Korean Studies in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures (two positions) (Ref.: 201300537) (for 1 year from September 1, 2013, with a possibility of renewal subject to availability of funding)

Applicants should possess a relevant Master’s degree with proven expertise in the teaching of Korean to non-native learners. They should also be conversant with current trends in language teaching and learning.  Minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching courses at all levels, particularly in tertiary education. The appointee is expected to help with course development and the design of teaching materials for the Korean Studies programme. Enquiries may be sent to Ms. Kangsoon Lee (email: kangsoon@hku.hk).

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
