Advertisement: Research Assistant II

Research Assistant II, School of Modern Languages and Cultures (Ref.: 201200037) (for 6 months from February 2012 or as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance, availability of funding and mutual agreement)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree in History/International Relations/Political Economy, Area Studies or a related Social Science/Humanities discipline. Applicants should have an excellent command of written English, be self-motivated and able to work under pressure.  Knowledge of additional relevant languages and familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods would be an advantage.  The appointee will undertake course material preparation, data collection and analysis, copy-editing, assist in the organization of workshops and conferences and other research duties.
