Creating a Colonial Home: Domesticity in the East Asian Colonies

About the speaker:
Dr Victoir holds a DPhil in History and a MPhil in Russian and Eastern European Studies from Oxford University. She graduated from Brown University with a BA in International Relations (Political Economy and Development). Dr Victoir taught courses on 19th century Russian and European history in the Department of History before joining the European Studies Programme in 2009. Her research interests include political and cultural history (especially in relation to Russia and France), as well as the history of architectural preservation in Europe and East Asia.

All are welcome. No registration is required.
