13th European Film Festival
 
 
Venue: T6, Meng Wah Complex
 
Date: 13-18 November 2006 
 

Jointly organized by the Office of International Student Exchange, School of Modern Languages and Cultures, and the European Union Working Group for Culture, the 13th European Film Festival will be held at HKU from November 13 to 18, 2006.  Twelve award-winning European films will be shown during the Festival.

November 14 (Tuesday)

November 15 (Wednesday)
5:00 p.m. Joan the Mad - Spain Spanish 117 mins
7:00 p.m. The Mozart Brothers - Sweden Swedish 110 mins
 
November 16 (Thursday)
5:00 p.m. Mother of Mine - Finland Swedish 104 mins
6:50 p.m. Chopin – Desire of Love - Poland Polish 123 mins
 
November 17 (Friday)
5:00 p.m. The Measuring of the Calves or The Wild Life of Wolfgang Mozart - Austria German 90 mins
6:35 p.m. Mobutu – King of Zaire - Belgium French 135 mins
 
November 18 (Saturday)
11:00 a.m. The Battle of the Three Kings - Portugal Portuguese 75 mins
12:20 p.m. Vagabond - Hungary Hungarian 102 mins
2:10 p.m. Heart of the Festival - France French 160 mins

All films are screened in the language of the country with English sub-titles, except for "Mother of Mine", which is in Swedish with English sub-titles. Free seating.
